Bronze Door Stop

Traditionally, door stops present a unique opportunity to create something both sculptural and useful. This design adds functional beauty to what is essentially just a weight to keep doors from slamming shut.

Made from incredibly strong and durable solid bronze, the 10-pound piece (size small) is able to maintain a simple elegance with a slender, ring shaped handle and unique channel shaped base.

Although considered sculpturally as a stand alone piece, the design is only fully realized in use as it's meant to celebrate the anchor point at the edge of a door where it meets the floor.
