Shipping
All orders shipping domestic are processed within 5 days for in-stock items, and are shipped out Monday through Friday. Handmade items will ship within 2-4 weeks from the date of order. Once your order has shipped, a confirmation email with tracking information is sent to the email address provided at checkout.
For items requiring White Glove Shipping, BCMT will reach our prior to shipping with a quote from a qualified shipper.
Returns & Exchanges
Because each piece is made by hand and often built to order, we generally do not accept returns. We encourage customers to reach out with any questions prior to purchase, and we're always happy to discuss materials, dimensions, and finish options to ensure a piece is the right fit.

Limited Warranty
Blackcreek Mercantile & Trading Co. guarantees the structural integrity of its furniture under normal residential use for the life of the piece.
Wood is a natural material and will respond to changes in temperature, humidity, and environment over time. Variations in grain, color, texture, movement, checking, and patina are inherent characteristics of solid wood and are not considered defects. Likewise, our finishes are intended to evolve through use and will naturally develop wear and character over time.
Should a structural defect arise, BCMT reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to repair, replace, or issue store credit for the affected piece. Customers are responsible for all transportation costs to and from the BCMT workshop for warranty-related repairs or evaluations.
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, improper care, accidents, commercial use, exposure to extreme environmental conditions, normal wear and tear, or the natural aging and movement of wood and finish materials.
Returns & Exchanges
Due to the handmade and often made-to-order nature of our work, all sales are considered final and we do not generally accept returns.
If a concern arises regarding your order, we encourage you to contact us directly. We are committed to supporting our customers and will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues on a case-by-case basis.
Approved returns must be authorized by BCMT in advance and are subject to a 30% restocking fee. Shipping, delivery, and handling charges are non-refundable. Returned items must be received in original condition.
Custom and commissioned work is non-refundable and non-returnable.
Lead Times
All lead times are estimates only and are subject to change based on production schedules, material availability, shipping conditions, and circumstances beyond BCMT's control. Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.
BCMT shall not be liable for delays caused by suppliers, freight carriers, acts of nature, labor disruptions, governmental actions, or other events beyond its reasonable control.
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping, delivery, and handling charges are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing. Shipping estimates provided at the time of order are subject to revision prior to shipment.
Upon receipt, the buyer is responsible for inspecting all items for damage or defects. Any claims relating to shipping damage must be submitted within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery and must include photographs of the damaged item and its original packaging. Failure to retain packaging materials may result in denial of the claim.
Custom Orders
A deposit may be required for custom or trade orders. Deposits are non-refundable once design, sourcing, or production work has commenced.
By placing an order with Blackcreek Mercantile & Trading Co., the buyer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.

We ship worldwide and are happy to coordinate delivery through our preferred carriers. Shipping costs are quoted separately based on the size of the piece and its destination. Domestic shipping quotes generally take up to one week to procure; international shipping quotes may require additional time.
All merchandise must be paid in full prior to shipment or pickup. Once completed, items should be collected promptly, as storage fees may apply to work held beyond the agreed pickup or shipping date.
